Annalyn loves playing with her "babies" (actually they are little teeny beanie babies, and Pound animals. She carries them around and gives them kisses and tries to feed them her snacks.
She loves pretending to talk on the phone, especially with one phone on each ear.
She knows and loves to make animal sounds. I think her favorite is doggie and duck.
She dances all crazy whenever someones phone rings.
She cries every time her daddy leaves for work, she is definitely a daddies girl.
She likes to undress herself and she thinks being naked is funny.
She knows many family members by name.
She loves to point to mommies belly and say "Baby", I believe she is going to be such a big helper when the new baby comes.

Mommy was painting her toe nails and Annalyn decided she needed her painted too. She sat on the table and let me paint them all without moving or crying! So then Mommy put on her tutu and she was hamming it up for everyone!

A short trip and mommy was not motivated to take many pictures but here is a couple of her first time on the West Coast!

We found out Thursday May 14th that I was pregnant again! We could not be more happy! On Tuesday May 19th my positive was confirmed by a blood test and my due date is set for January 29th.

Annalyn was rocking out the whole time! She was dancing and kept trying to run closer to the stage and speakers. She was wearing her "I love Rock and Roll" tshirt and just being a little ham. A lady from a news show was taking video of her to go on the news. Annalyn was hamming it up and being the little doll that she is. She also ran up to a guy with some fries and gave him the "Please feed me" look. Everyday is an adventure with this little munchkin.

We had a wonderful vacation to Disney World! It was full of love, laughs, and oh so much fun. Only one minor breakdown the whole trip. Annalyn was in aww of all the people and things to do. She passed out in her stroller every single night before we left the parks. We didn't want to leave and plan on going back as soon as possible!

Easter Weekend!

We all had a wonderful Easter weekend!

Saturday Annalyn and Mommy dyed Easter eggs with Mary Beth and Savannah. Annalyn was so sleepy from playing outside all day that she really just sat in her highchair and played with a Hello Kitty Easter egg! Maybe next year she will have more fun with the dying part.

Sunday we all went to Easter service at church and particapated in a little Easter egg hunt. Annalyn wore a dress Grandma Diane got her when she was 5 months old, it was a size 3 to 6 months but it still fit her at 14 months! Then we came home and Annalyn took a VERY long nap. When she woke up we let her open up her Easter basket! She got a bubble blower, and a Leap Frog Fridge Farm! She got a card from Mommy and Daddy and card from Grandpa and Grandma Howe. She loves her new toys! Later we went to have Easter dinner with the Dobles and then the girls had a little Easter egg hunt in the front yard. Annalyn didn't really know what to do at first then she was walking all over picking up the eggs and putting them in her basket. She just loved the little plastic eggs! She had no idea there was anything inside until daddy opened them and ate ALL the candy from them since she is still too little for it.

Annalyn finally had her 12 month doctors appointment!

She is doing great! She is ahead with a lot of her milestones and growing wonderfully! She is a little on the small side but the doctor said she would probably hit a spurt soon. The doctor wants us to keep her on the soy milk since she got sick everytime we tried whole cows milk. She said the pacifer was fine especially since she was getting molars in but to wean from that once the rest of her teeth came in. She is off all bottles during the day but sometimes she still has one at night time which we are currently trying to get away from. She is running (falling a lot though), climbing, and amazing us everday.

That after they hit one every day would bring a new discovery or a new word?

This morning Annalyn started grabbing the hand towel off the oven bar and "cleans" with it. It is so cute. During breakfast I gave her a napkin to wipe her hands and she started scrubbing her highchair.

Also she has been saying "Thank you" for awhile now. She would do it because she would put her pacifier in mine or Drew's mouths and we would say "Thank You!" now she holds whatever she has in her hand out to you and if you try to take it she pulls it back and says "Tank ewww", me and Drew laughed the first time she did it.

I have been practicing "high fives" with her. Yesterday she started slapping you hand if you put it up by her.

We do the alphabet every day and when I sing the alphabet I also do sign language. Whenever I start do sing it now Annalyn puts her hands up and moves them, I think she thinks that she is doing the signs too.

Since Annalyn was still so sick we stopped half way and stayed in a hotel. She was feeling a little bit better so we went out to dinner. I tried to take a family picture but it didn't work too well. This morning Annalyn started throwing up. We were supposed to drive to Fort Worth Texas though and I thought it was just a mild little stomach ache and decided to make the trip.....

Wrong choice. Annalyn continued to vomit the whole time we were in Texas. She caught a nasty stomach virus. Poor baby.

We did have fun seeing our friends Cori and Roman though. Ms. Cori got Annalyn a wonder pink chair that Annalyn LOVES. She also got to spend Valentines Day with her boyfriend Roman. As you can see from the pictures though she was not a happy camper.

Annalyn has never been around stairs since she became mobile until we went on vacation. I was washing sippy cups and Drew was putting something upstairs. I thought I heard Annalyn giggling and I run over to the stairs and she had climbed up 3 stairs. I stood behind her to make sure she wouldn't fall and she climbed to the landing. She thought it was hilarious and was laughing like a crazy person. From that day on she would make a run for the stairs every time she was playing on the floor!

Our Vacation Begins!

We left Friday night to go to Fort Polk to visit everyone. The drive went really well. Annalyn slept almost the whole 8 hours.

In only 5 days my little pumpkin will be one. Here is an update on everyones favorite little cupcake.

Annalyn:
* Has been walking since December!
*Claps
*Waves "Hi" and "Bye-Bye"
*Gives kisses
*Cuddles her stuffed animals and babies.
*Knows what buttons do. Example: She knows what button to press to turn on her CD player in her room, or what button turns on the TV.
* Can stand up anywhere without something to pull up on.
*Opens and shuts drawers.
*Can take off her pants
*Uses sippy cups and tries to use spoons.
*She will brush her hair if you let her have her brush same with her teeth
*Likes to shut doors.
*She says these words not on command but she will say them: "Dad/Dada, Grandpa, MaMa, Ball, Hi, and Cow"
*Every animal is a cow, and if you say MOOOOO she looks at you and most of the time will say cow.
*She will sit and look at books by herself quietly.
*She has figured out how to work all her toys.
*She loves big people food. Her favorites include: Waffles, Madrian Oranges, Kix cereal, oatmeal with bananas, turkey, cheese, peas, carrots, and her absolute favorite is beans, especially black beans.
*If you say "No" she stops what she is doing and looks at you. Most of the time she keeps doing it but sometimes she starts to fake cry.
*Sometimes when she toots she says "Huh?"
*She still wears her 6-9 month jeans, 9-12 month ones are way too big but I still put them on her because they are cute.
*She loves to dance.
*She adores her daddy. When he walks in the room she goes frantic. She will play with him on the floor for hours. She crawls all over him and jumps ontop of him. She thinks it is so very fun.
*She loves big bouncy balls. I got her a pink one and she chases it around the house.
*She won't go to bed for the night anywhere but her crib, and she likes her Mozart music.
*She knows a couple signs, and enjoys when I sign the Alphabet to her or when I sign the ABCs while singing them in Spanish.
*The only thing she will sit contently for is Baby Einstein. Old Macdonald is her absolute favorite. She says "Cow" during the entire thing.
*She enjoys going to the library and crawling around and looking at the books and toys.
*Walks in her stroller will put her to sleep, but as soon as you stop moving she wakes up.
*She has 2 old cellphones that she plays with. She will say "Hi" if you hold it up to her ear.
*She still has 6 teeth, weighs 19.3 pounds, and is 27 inches long.
*She loves to play with her friend Savannah.
*Whenever we open the front door to leave she squeals with delight.
*She is a people person if anyone is talking to her she likes to ham it up.
*She takes the best pictures for anyone but her momma. If I get out the camera she will not sit still for one second, she tries to yank it out of my hands. She even pulled down the tripod with my camera on it while trying to get some pictures of her.
*She is attempting to climb.

Annalyn unwrapped her presents from Drew's parents on Christmas morning. We were waiting to unwrap the rest of her presents when my parents came the next day. She got two fleece sleepers, an outfit, socks, hats, mittens, and a FP Laugh and Learn kitchen. She had so much fun unwrapping her presents and then playing with her kitchen. She likes to cook all different things on her stove, but mostly small animals and balls.

The One with a Couple New things!

~Annalyn has been waving for a long time, but now if she even hears the word "Bye" she becomes a crazy waver. She will wave and wave for a long time.
~She has been trying to clap now for the past month and finally mastered it today. If I clap my hand she gets a huge smile and starts to clap her hands.
~She will stand up for a minute or so at a time now. She is so brave and lets go whenever she is holding onto anything. She gets a huge smile when she realizes what she is doing. Then she will bend her knees until her hnads touch the floor so she doesn't fall.
~ TABLE FOOD! Annalyn ate Thanksgiving dinner and we have been working on adding in more table food. She eats waffles, bagels, toast, green beans, peas, carrots, noodles, Cherrios, goldfish, puffs, banana cookies, pears, mandrian oranges, and even a peice of grape. Nothing with milk, spices, peanuts, fish, or beef though.
~She will lift her arms up when we are trying to take off her shirts, and even try to pull her pants off when I am changing her diaper. She likes hats, but also likes to pull them off.
~Peek-a-boo, is the game most played around here. She goes insane if you cover your face with a blanket and pop out and say "PEEK".
~Her neck is ticklish, and she will turn her head to the side so you can't tickle it.

We decorated the tree today. It has light blue, dark blue and silver (SHATTERPROOF!) ornaments. We put a silver tree skirt to match. And our white star tree topper.

The One With Annalyn's First Thanksgiving!

First bite of Thanksgiving dinner. She ate sweetpotatoes, regular potatoes, turkey, rolls, greenbeans, and some gravy. Later that night she had a bite of pumpkin pie!

I have a little shorty! heheEverything was good.

*They checked her hemoglobin which was good, but she cried for about 10 minutes. She kept trying to eat the bandaid so the doctor took it off about 15 minutes after they did it and she was still pouring blood. She is a bleeder just like me!
*He said everything was okay. I was worried because she hasn't taken to solid foods, and only wanted purees. He said it is fine, and it is a myth that if you don't start giving the table foods they will never want anything but purees. He said don't rush her. She will find something she likes and then she will realize solid/table foods are not that bad.
*I had him check her mouth because she has been having really bad breath. He said it could just be her food, but if extra cleanings of her mouth does not help, then to make another appointment.
*He also said not to worry about the pacifier. He said wait until 12 months to try and wean, he said he would rather see her with a paci then with a bottle so to work on the weaning of the bottle and not the pacifer.
*We are going to try and work in some regular formula with the AR to get ready for milk at 12 months.
*Oh and we passed on the flu shot, so no shots for the baby.
So basically my task is to start getting rid of the bottle. Which I think will go smoothly since she is down to only 4 a day.

Due to a conflict on my part, I had to reschedule Annalyn's 9 month appointment, and it is today!
I can't wait to see how much she weighs and how long she is! I know she is just perfect. I will post some pictures and her stats later on today.

The One Where We Have a Good Baby!

Everyday since last Sunday, for bed time and naps, all we have to do it put Annalyn in her crib, and she rolls on her side and goes to sleep. NO FUSSING! NO CRYING!

It is awesome! She loves her bed! She is such a good baby! We are so blessed!

The One Where Annalyn is 9 Months Old!

Her favorite thing to do. She takes the DVDs out one at a time, and throws them on the floor.

She loves to play at the door because she can see her reflection. She laughs so hard!

Can you believe it? She is almost a year old!

Here is an update on everyone's favorite Miss Annalyn:

Eating: She eats three meals a day. We have started with some finger food. She has mastered diced carrots, diced banannas, diced pears, pieces of toast, puffs, and Cherrios. Her favorite babyfood is Sweet Potatoes and Turkey or Sweet Potatoe Casserole. She still does not really care for peas, or peaches though.

Play time: Annalyn has pretty much figured out how all of her toys work. She will sit and look at books and turn the pages. She has a pushalong toy that she is just starting to enjoy.

Milestones:

Annalyn can pull up or stand up on anything, including walls.

She has learned to stand on her tippytoes to pull stuff of of shelves and tables.

She waves "hi" and "bye"

She dances to any sort of music she hears including cell phone ring tones.

She imatates all sorts of noises. Her newest is tongue clicking.

If she sees something she wants she will try to crawl, pull up, or even try to stand on things to get it.

She can stand without support of anything for varying amounts of times.

She tries to take steps, hasn't worked out yet.

She says MaMa, DaDa, and BaBa. Once in awhile you will hear a HI.

She knows the word "No" but obviously doesn't obey it.

She also tries to clap.

Annalyn has 4 teeth, and we can barely see the 5th one about to poke through!

Annalyn also enjoys to play with her friend Savannah who is almost two years old. She steals toys from Vanna all the time. But they do enjoy some babbling back and forth. Annalyn has developed the normal seperation anxiety. I have to sneak out of the room to get anything done. She doesn't like her Jumperoo, and has never really liked a walker. She would rather be crawling around and standing up and getting into everything. Her favorite thing to do is to stand up on the DVD rack and pull all the DVDs down one by one. She hates getting dressed and will scream the whole time. She does enjoy her bathtime though. Her 9 month appointment is next week. But we weighed her here and it said 18.9 pounds! :)

Hey this is Annalyn's blog, so I guess it is safe to brag here.

Last night when we were out, so many people were oooohh and ahhhing over Annalyn. It is like that everytime we go out. "What a beautiful baby!" We hear it from everyone. One woman came up and said, "I have never seen a more beautiful baby, they should make a baby doll that looks exactly like her!" People will stop their cars in parking lots and roll down their windows and tell me how gorgeous she is.
I feel so blessed that God has given us such a perfect little angel. Annalyn is the light of our lives. She brightens everyone's day that she comes in contact with. My favorite part of the day is getting Annalyn out of her crib, and bringing her in the bed with me and snuggling with her until she wakes up. She tries to give me big kisses on the face, and will lay there and coo. Annalyn is so sweet. I find myself kissing her and hugging her at least 10 times an hour. I love when she holds on tight like a little baby monkey. I used to wonder about angels, but now, I know what one looks like, how they smell, and I know the sound of an angel too. Annalyn is our perfect angel.

Annalyn is not happy unless she is moving around. She will rarely sit still anymore if anything else is going on. It is a difficult mission to get her diaper changed.
